Nijanand The Path to Eternal Bliss

Nijanand Sampradaya is the faith leading to Nijanand or Eternal Bliss through The Divine Wisdom of Lord Prannath.

The word Nijanand is derived from two terms: Nij and Anand. Nij concerns with one’s True-Self, soul or atman; and anand represents True Bliss or eternal joy. Thus, Nijanand refers to the soul’s ultimate blissful and the purest divine state. The secret of the unfolding of Nijanand lies in realizing God through the study of the Divine Words of the Holy Kuljam Swaroop , the practice of this Wisdom in one’s life, and the constant meditation or chitwani of God’s divine appearance (swaroop), abode (dham), and pastime (leela).

The Wisdom of Nijanand Sampradaya is the Lord’s best gift to humanity. In addition to the highest spiritual gain offered to an individual soul, this Divine Wisdom provides a very strong foundation for the establishment of love, peace, and harmony on this earth. Particularly, it enables one to identify and address the forces dividing humanity in the name of religion. One God, brotherhood, unity, and equal respect to all religions, cultures, and nonviolence are the important teachings of Nijanand Sampradaya.

Spiritual awakening of a soul, or Jagni is the common goal of all religions. However, it means different things to different sects, faiths, and philosophers. The question is can they all reach the same destination? According to Prannathji, the term ‘awakening’ means understanding the purpose of the human life, knowing about one’s true-self, the One Supreme Truth God, His eternal abode, or Paramdham, and the blissful divine sports therein. Among the many integral parts of the Jagni Process are gaining the understanding about:

  • the root cause of this particular creation,
  • the scripture told process of creation and dissolution,
  • the Perishable Kshar Purusha,
  • the Imperishable Akshar Brahmn,
  • the Supreme Brahmn Uttam Purusha,
  • the three categories of souls,
  • understanding the different levels of mind,
  • the limitations of the Law of Karma,
  • the ultimate outcome of this creation, and
  • the signs of the Final Day of Judgement

As Upanishads repeatedly say: “realization of the self and the Supreme Brahmn is the ultimate purpose of human life because it bestows immortality. A strong desire to receive the true answers to these questions is the first step to move towards the attainment of Eternal Bliss. An individual seeking Nijanand, being a true jeweler, will, of course, shop with extreme care and a firm mind; they will always look for Nijanand–the Jewel of all Jewels.

  • Who am I? Where have I come from?
  • What is the purpose of my existence in this world?
  • Who is the true owner of my soul?
  • Where is the God who created this beautiful Universe?
  • What is the bondage of Maya (illusory power) that takes me away from the truth?
  • How can I break these bondage’s to attain eternal salvation?
